The receptionist I met - 3 of them 2 ladies and 1 gentlement. All of them are very helpful. Especially the younger receptionist lady, she would even draw a map and guide me to where I wanted to go. Very kind of her. The environment is awesome in the place. Easy access to food stalls and about 5-10 mins walk to all the nightlife joints. The room is really nice, it was quite shocked that the room was more like a star class hotel room than a guesthouse room. It's quite close to the market in town where you can get cheaper souveniers compared to the souvenir's price in the beach.
all reviews » The shared bathroom is really good, clean and completed with soap and shampoo, the guesthouse is clean, the staffs are friendly, value for money, and really close to harbour and terminal. The room and the bathroom were very clean, also the position was good: very near to the bus station (90bath from the airport of Phuket to Phuket town) and near the center of the town. Next to the old bus station where you can catch local bus to the new bus station. Common bathroom is big and clean, with hot showers. Staff is helpful. Clean rooms, friendly staff, great location! Great bar just west down the road, live music, child friendly and reasonably priced food. I liked the cleanness of this guest house and it was in a good area in Phuket next to the bus terminal. The public transportation in Phuket Town is not really good, so it's quite confusing to go from Phuket Town to places around Phuket such as the beaches, and also the bus terminal near this guesthouse is not really functioning anymore, so it's quite far to go to the functioning bus terminal which is almost out of town. The computer in the lobby were all broken, and the wi-fi signal is rather weak at the 4th floor, though the speed was quite good. The wifi connection was very poor. When I asked information about ferry to ko phi phi, the girl said me that the total price (go and come back) was 2,000 bath... I walk 5 minutes and I found the same trip for 550 bath, with a private passage (minibus) from the guesthouse to the port. Ceiling fans in the dormitory are not quite powerfull enough when it gets hot. One overhead fan, wouldn't be ideal for the heat conscious. The Phuket town has nothing for the average traveler (Nothing to do with the hotel). was a little bit far from the night bazar 15-20 minutes walk (but it is very chep to travel by tuk tuk - = 1$). air conditioner not serviced price. Noise from nightclub. no lift. Rooms to the road are really noisy. Don´t rent a motorbike, they are crap. Close to 7/11 are to shops with better motorbikes. only fans are provided in 3 persons room and no window . Very small room- quite cage-y. Location is poor, phuket town doesn't have alot going on- would recommend staying at Patong. Noise... at night... until around 4:00am... puket. I booked 1 double private room in this hostel, I think their price is quite high. No breakfast is served, and hostel staff is not so friendly for backpacker, they selling tour to phi-phi and other destination in phuket but the price is quite high, you could find another offers from other backpacker hotel with more reasonable price. Forget about its location where close to bus station, because now bus only stop at new bus station located outside downtown. Owner not welcoming, you are just a number. Everything.
