This was my 1st time staying at the LK Metropole but it won't be my last . When I got there the hotel was overbooked but they had held me a suite and I got a free upgrade . That was a very good start. The suite was huge and spacious . Beautiful room , really nice bathroom and 42 inch Sony TV . Breakfast was included but if you know Pattaya nightlfe , the number of times you actually get up early to have breakfast will be few and far between . So , I can't comment on the breakfast at all . all reviews » The Staff gave us a wonderful welcome. My Mother & Brother stayed at this hotel for many years but sadly passed away earlier this year. I took my brother's ashes to Thailand to scatter him with my other brother who died there 7 years ago. I let the hotel know the purpose of my visit and upon arrival I was given a letter from the Manager saying how sorry the staff were to hear of my news. I was then told that I had been given a free upgrade to the Metropole Suite which was fantastic!! Th. looks are good location is great most people know where it is view are nice , mostly quite even when the generator is running. Staff are helpful and fix all issue that happened with a few hours so that they did not effect my stay. The hotel was clean and reasonably furnished. The rooms are very spacious and reasonably well noise insulated. The location is very central and near bars and restaurants. The location was good , the hotel room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable , our daughter also liked the cot supplied by the staff. The locality of LK was great right in the centre of the night life but yu couldn't hear this from your room. The rooms were excellent. the hotel was a very high standard of cleanliness and lovely furnished rooms and one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. This hotel is very very good value, service is 1st class, staff are very friendly and polite. The service staff was excellent and super helpful. Housekeeping did a great job. Location is perfect. Slight problem with hot water in the shower sometimes but this is very minor ....Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. the breakfast are not great. the toilet system is easy broken. I would have preferred a proper shower in the bathroom , other than that we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The breakfast wasn't really up to much we ate out locally at a really cheap price. honestly I cant think of anything. No bathrobe or slippers. No room service after 3 PM. Cardio gym equipment was faulty. No complain. rooms a bit dated and shower are bad. Water pressure, shower. your price increased by 400 baht whilst I was there. basic bathroom have to hold shower head. very poor water pressure when having a shower. Very old rooms, many things broken, although can be used. Too expensive for the place/service. We arrived and they could not find our booking they did not have the room we booked and placed us in a down grade room for 1 night, no tea/coffee fridge empty. Would not stay here again. Toilet not flushing leaking all over floor . never fixed .attitude of management. Noisy neighbors.
