The location was amazing - we had a beach-front room and I would highly recommend this to anyone staying here. It was a little away from the "night- life" but there were great places to eat and drink right on the beach where we were. Great for a romantic getaway. Nice rooms and great pool within the resort complex surrounded by a very romantic island outlook. Wonderfully located restaurants and bars throughout the island.

The staff dosen't smile and are not very friendly, and we all know how Thai people are smilly and friendly, that's a pitty! It's horrible to have sewers right next to the swimming pool and also everywhere in the island going right to the sea. There aren't many choices for lunch and dinner in the hotel. stones on the beach that hurt and harm your feet. Way too much speedboats and ferries that let you ask yourself if you are not swimming in a sea port. Very Expensive For 3 nights at resort I pay less to stay in a 2 bedroom House in Hua Hin also in Thailand for 1 month, Also did not realize it was in a national park so that was more money. very poor and antiquated reception area and some facilities in need of modernisation. The management has no conscience about sustainability,naturepreservation or hygiene: 1.there is a waste water open air sewerage collection lagoon right next to the pool. 2.they throw away piles of bottles at the inner road side of the exit of the resort. 3.they burn garbage at that same roadside in an own mini filthy open air landfill. 4.during rain this landfill leachate runs straight through the resort!. It bad attitude in hotel reception. Small cabana, concrete floor, design interior dated. Needs fresh paint and better flooring. rude lazy staff, flea bitten dogs walking through restaraunt while dining,this should not be called a resort, as resorts have minimum standards this place has none,the only good part of this place is the beach,accomadation is too over priced for condition,and requires money to be reinvested on updating furniture.
