The resort is a little diffrent in a good way. It's bacically partly in the jungle (with monkeys) and partly buy the sea. The bungalows and rooms are big and spacious. Nicely decorated. The breakfast was wonderful and the food was better than average. The resort is very calm and the upper jungle pool we had almost to ourselves, eventhough the resort was fully booked. If you are in Koh Chang to relax and just enjoy nature then this is ideal. If you want party beaches then it's definitely not convenient enough going back and forth at night. The architecture is wonderful, and the surroundings are incredibly peaceful.

Clean, well furnished rooms. Nice restaurant, good food, surprisingly fine wines. The Resort is nice and the staff try and be really helpful. It is far away. At the southernmost tip of Koh Chang. It'll take you an hour from the ferry. You can't really walk to a village (Fishermans is the closest). Food options during the day are very limited. At night without a motorbike it is dark and very difficult to find the way back the first time. No Private Sand Beach, Outlying, difficult to reach. A little let down was the restaurant menus. I was staying at Nirvana 2 years ago where the menue was mind blowing, I think they have changed the kitchen. Much classier before. And also that there aren't bathtubs in all rooms. It wasn't possible to go directly swim in the see. Due to low season, restaurant open only for breakfast. Personel was unprofesional. Brackfast was not really nice and tantra restaurant was not good. Facilities like pool and viewpoint were not ready. You wouldlke expect more and beter service for the price of the hotel. room not so clean and the cleaning every day takes them not more than 5 minutes. every day we got less towels and had to ask for them too. times for the beach shuttle is 11.30 to and 16.00 from the beach, which is very short, as it is nice on the beach. hotel seem to be fading from wah tis was and the prices are quite high compared to other, similar resorts. Stayed here in the wet season, which is not too recommendable. One of the pools was closed. And the owner was unfortunately not present due to broken leg. There is no beach close to the hotel. Value for money is poor in comparison with other parts of Thailand. The staff are not trained properly, I.E. there are 'breakfast choices' and one of them is a rosti, that is 2 poached eggs on top of a rosti, but if you order just 2 poached eggs they don't know what you are talking about. The bed is not made, the top sheet is rearranged and the bottom sheet is not touched.
