We had a great time at the Orchid. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The Ordchid is located at Bailan Bay - a very small village along the main road. It is a very quiet area with a couple of stores and restaurants. If you are planning to rent motorbikes - it is easy to get around, we didn't though because of the steep roads. For 50 Baht pr. Person you can take a taxi to Lonely Beach (5 minutes away). Lonely beach is a backpacker area and we really liked it there. I just wouldn't prefer .

Rooms are in every price-range nice and cosy , the restaurant menu is very variable and excellent quality ! Defenatly recomandable !! Special thanks to pieter and mister bond !!!! Hope to see you again. The four bedded room that we stayed in for 6 nights was lovely and we liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Particular mention for the enthusiasm of Mr Bond, who always went out of his way to help whatever way he could. The evening meals were good with plenty of variety and we ate at this Hotel every evening. Our stay at this resort was just the perfect relaxing holiday. The owners and staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. We liked the relaxed atmosphere, charming garden with beautiful flowers, great pool, nice bungalows, very good restaurant. Very friendly staff. As most hotels in Ko Chang this hotel was not directly located on the beach. The free hotel shuttle to the most beautiful beach on Ko Chang made our stay. Rooms were not so clean; insects in the room. Breakfast a little expensive but good. Far from white sand beach, transportation may be an issue if you didn't hire a scooter. While the bungalows are spotless, they get ants by the end of the day. the location is 40mins drive from the white sand beach, where the main city is. the hotel far from the main crowd. smoking not allowed in the resort other than room balcony. There is non. Bugs inside Damp smell in bed. Not much space for kids to play. none. rooms need upgrade need new beds you have to have trasport local restarunts not good.
