My husband and I celebrated my birthday in Phuket, and the hotel staffs came up with a surprise cake on my birthday. It was the most unforgettable and sweetest memory that we've ever had in the hotel!. Everything! The breakfast was lovely, close to the beach, excellent staff, who even put flowers on our bed and gave us free fruit when we arrived. 2 nice pools.Everything.

Hard bed, variable cleaning schedule, narrow and dangerous road to center, lot of stairs, disturbing hungry birds in breakfast room, some days towels were missing after cleaning and ineffective air-conditioning. A member of the reception staff. I wrote to complain but never received an acknowledgement or apology. The decor was a little old, and the room (and hotel) was a bit worn and tired and could use sprucing up.. Pool towels were very worn, and weren't always replaced every day. The wooden pool loungers don't have cushions, and it would be nice if one of the pools was adult-only. One big problem we had in our budget room was noise from the hotel's patio (driveway) restaurant. It would have been nice to be informed that the minimum amount of stairs you need to climb (starting from the carpark) is 60 - our room required approx 75 stairs plus the use of a lift. There are other rooms at this hotel that require the use of additional stairs!!!!!!! Not for the faint hearted!!!!!!. old furnitures, breakfast every day this same, bathroom,. Hard to get up to room. First room in the first floor strange,wet smell !. Old facilities!!!! There is mold invading every part of the hotel... Therooms are smelly and dirty and made in a cheap style.. It is located at areally depressive part of Kata Beach ... They will ask you to pay thefull amount at check in.. I don't recommend this Hotel to anyone. old facilities for a four star hotel, hope refurnishment. Hotel really old and tired looking and could do with a massive refurbishing and facelift. Also, the way the buildings are all spread out and only three lifts to service the various heights. They could do with putting in a few more new lifts at various points. TV sets in hotel atleast 20 years old. Poor Service. in the publication it appears as the hotel has a private beach which was completely wrong it is about 7 minute walk to the beach front which is public. We were stubed in the receptaion by moskitos while the stuff reaction was giggles and laughes insted of offering help of some kind. It took more than 15 minutes for the check-in since credit card facilities didnt work.It was so smelly in the room even though we changed once, but still the same. We guessed it was because the weather is very humid there but other hotel we stayed a week before was not like this hotel... so certainly there's a room for improvement.
