I liked almost everything, the location on top of a hill (with frequent shuttle going to Chaweng Beach), the restaurant with excellent food at very reasonably price (also for minibar), considering the remoteness of the location where most other hotels would have charged minimum double or triple when nothing else is around. all reviews » The hotel was not acceptable. There are some small flaws, but overall, all worthy. The view from the rooms beautiful, perfectly trained staff. But you can always go to the beaches of the island. There is a free Shuttle. Breakfast in the hotel's wonderful. friendly staff, good location, A/C playroom for small children was really a nice addition. Complematary services like baby/child car seats, decent shuttle service to nearby village and good beach, very child friendly infinity pool. The extremely restful environment coupled with the high degree of luxury. Fantastic views from all rooms and a great pool. Good shuttle service from the resort to the local beaches etc. Amazing views, beautiful pool, helpful and accommodating staff, huge rooms and balconies, shuttles to Bophut and Chaweng, yoga, food...everything!!. Not all the rooms offer the views you see on the website - in case you arrive late during the day or book late, you are likely to land in a room that is not as gorgeous as in the advertisement. The sun-loungers in front of some rooms are very uncomfortable. Very steep hill and literally nothing around the hotel (but there is shuttle service.and motorbikes to hire). With a swimming pool a little thoughtfully often no free places. The bed mattrass qaulity was a bit underrated for our liking. Maybe new mattrasses are needed. Nothing to dislike. The shuttle times could have been a bit more convenient for dinner - I.E. Chaweng services left at 5pm or 9pm. Wé Did not like thé hill from thé réception to all thé rooms wé were at thé top tier of rooms the incliné of the hill to be honest is rediculous . Even though you get shuttled up on a golf buggy wé felt that it was verging on dangerous quote often the chargé would die nearing the top. Lovely resort but the hill up and down has detered us from visiting mantra again . Nothing, all perfect!!!. We had no dislikes. Pool was too small and it was difficult to get a lounge unless you started early or reserved it with your gear which many people did spoiling it for the rest. Nothing. If you don't mind a 20 min taxi ride to the main beach Chaweng then stay here. Plus side is they offer free shuttle transfer to and from chaweng but only at certain times. Food expensive Shuttle times did not suit us. Expensive food.shuttle service not frequent enough.
