This is a fantastic little boutique style guesthouse just on the outskirts of the old city of Chiang Mai, just 5 minutes from the night bazaar and 10 minutes from the Tha Phae Gate.
The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and the guesthouse itself is very nicely decorated, homely and comfortable.

stayed in 4 hotels in Thailand on this trip. Rustic was the best and
cheapest by far. If I go back to Chiang Mai I will most definitely stay

I love every thing in Rustic. I'm so enjoy my holiday when I was living there. And I will be there again next time. Rustic is next to Warorot Market and 7-8 mins to Tha Pae Gate by walking. Staffs are very kind. Room always clean and comfortable.
This guest house is lovely, all in wooden construction and there is a lovely public area! everything is good.The breakfast is super wonderful! Especially the fried rice is the best during our Thailand Trip!! Staff are helpful and very nice!.
Great staff who looked after us right from the beginning and helped us out with trips and bus tickets. Close to night Market for street food. Excellent breakfast, and hotel was nicely designed and generally clean.

maybe a little far from old town but that's ok because it's really a wonderful place to live.
Our top floor room had noisy generators/tanks outside, and the smell from the drains in the bathroom was nauseating. A few bugs in our room and the door didn't seem too secure but no real issues. A bit of a walk to town but not too far.
The location is a bit dark at night, but Chiang Mai is very safe.
