Great value hotel in a good location right on Thae Phae gate. 10 mins to the night bazaar or 1 minute to the walking street. Nice rooms and mine had a good view of the city. Reception staff, buffet breakfast and restaurant staff, room size, location, secure parking, fast lifts. Great value for money. The place of hotel is very good,near old city,Clear,can see the hall,My son like the swiming pool.

Large but odd breakfast selection - western options included bbq pork and mashed potato,cauliflower gratin ect...as well as other fare such as eggs cakes fruit and yogurt- the hotel could benefit from healthy options such as muesli and porridge Every cafe in Chiang mai offered free WiFi while the hotel charged 60b for a half hour. The beds were very hard. wifi was spotty/poor - fare to airport too expensive - poo cold. The a/c made a lot of noise. After all the nice, small boutic hotels we've stayed in, this was disappointing. Insufficient toiletries - need to supply razor n tooth brushes & paste. Poor electricity. Rooms looked tired and carpets were long overdue a change throughout the hotel. My room had dead bugs and dirt accumulated in the corners - but overall the room and bathroom was clean. Checking in could have been a bit more interactive - perhaps the staff were shy ?. front desk staff not that friendly and helping when interacting with hotel guest. the attitude of the bellboy bringing us to the room is great though. he should be working in the front desk.... beds hard, inner springs sticking out. Very impersonal and the breakfast was a let down....never made it to get some fresh food. It was more of a lunch than a breakfast. Not exactly what you would want to see at 7 am. The rooms are basic. Could not deliver the connecting rooms requested. Cleanliness was very poor, hotel is and rooms are very old, a/c very noisy, bed extremely hard, internet very expensive and did not work properly. Room was never vacuumed during my 6 days stay. Bathroom very old. Too expensive for this kind of hotel. The beds are really hard. I woke up stiff and sore every day.The staff were not very friendly or helpful, except for one. The cleaners were very hit and miss. Not many nearby restaurants. Loved Chiang Mai just wish I'd stayed somewhere else. Had to use an internet cafe because the wifi was so expensive. terribly filthy rooms and all over old and run down hotel with very ubfriendly frontdesk.
