The lobby and pool-side bars also offer light snacks and refreshing drinks, sometimes accompanied by live music. The gym features cardio and weight-lifting sections, an aerobic dance and yoga room. Beauty treatments and massages can also be enjoyed at the Emerald Spa and Massage centre.

Emerald Hotel is located on Rachadapishek Road and is right in the middle of Bangkok's entertainment center. It's walking distance to all the places and near Somboon, a famous Thai curry crab restaurant. It is also near to Huai Kwang MRT station which connects to other parts of Bangkok and it's easy to move around. Room is cozy and price is reasonable. Breakfast was good. Overall, a nice hotel.

Good location to the underground system (MRT) but still no connection to the Airport express Makkasan!!. 1) easy to get a good massage. 2) food and shopping are not too far away. Big improvement for check-in with new team more professional than before. Hence, the geographical situation, only. Good breakfast. Central location. No much! In fact nothing!. Big hotel. parking. the bed, it was comfortable. The aircon was cold. None. Hotel is noisey at night when you are trying to sleep. At 6 am in the morning I saw a rat run from the dining area into the coffee shop! I have been coming to stay at the Emerald on and off for over ten years now and unlike other hotels that I return to where they say "welcome back, Dr Perry, at the Emerald it is like I am anew client and there is no history. Not sufficient bell boys to handle lugguages. Alkthough I upgraded to an Executive room the shower had fungi and the shower door would not close correctly so the bathroom floor was always full of water?? No Hair drier in the room!!. 1) Lots of China people, very noisy. 2) encountered with durian smell in the room. 3) the cup for coffee, in the room were so dirty!. Very poor quality of food at the coffee shop Almost no seat in the lobby. Seats broken at the dessert corner. Poor service at check-in and out. Personnel seems not happy to work there. Odour from the canal. Walls too thin can hear everything. They still charging the wifi which is considering the free service for most of the hotel now. Extremely not convenience. No complimentary bottled water No complimentary newspaper at door each morning No complimentary wifi. WiFi not free Hotel of this category should provide free Internet. The room with comunicating door not requested allowing you to hear every noise made by your neighbor ...! Really unpleasant. Terrible staff attitude. Untrained, dour and unhelpful. Grumbling doormen more interested in tips rather than service. They even charge if you take the bedroom slippers! Obvious cost cutting have taken place. Very bad service from the staffs. They don't interested the guests. I asked some help from them but they walk out. staff problem with check-in and check-out staff working not professional. all the rest. Food looked good but was tough and inedible. Would not eat there again. 3 of us drank beer in Wine 88 the hotel bar and found out when we got the bill that they were charging 10us$ for crap local beer. the room was smelly and i fought the flue, cause we try to keep the air con to the max to take the smell away. Ok I was smoker but that doesn't mean the room been smelly. why wi-fi must pay ?service poor,never never stay in the hotel again ........
