Staffs are friendly and helpful. Tourist help desk was informative and charges reasonably for tour booking. Room and toilet were clean with comfortable bed. Hairdryer available within the room. Air condition was great for Bangkok's hot weather. Daily housekeeping available with free bottles of water replenished. Convenient location to major shopping malls such as Platinum Mall and Central World within walking distance. Street stalls in the morning and night make perfect for authentic Thai food .

Near to shopping street and mall with walking distance. Veriaty of food to select. Also easy to get public tranport such as taxi and tuk-tuk. Staff of Ecotel Bangkok are extremely friendly and helpful when we asked for directions. WiFi is available at the hotel, but it gets disconnected occasionally. Location of hotel is near platinum and pratunam market. Overall, it's a great deal from letsbookhotel.com!. My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 1 night. Everything was perfect. We really liked the staff (very friendly), the room (very clean and there was everything we needed), breakfast. The hotel is not far from Bayoke Sky. The prise is really reasonable!. Great location, clean, everything you need. Lots of breakfast and eating options around the hotel. This is a great budget hotel. Please be aware that the word romantic would be the last word I would use when describing this hotel. My room was very nice, comfortable, very clean and I like the cozy bathroom. The location is excellent for shopping. This was my 5th time I stayed here and I always enjoy it. Its close to n within walking distance to most of d shopping malls. The staff are friendly n courteous. The hotel n room is clean. excellent location. hardly 10 minutes walk from Indra market & MBK & Platinum mall. Reasonable price. It is a small friendly hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff.We have stayed before but were disappointed this time. With a little extra effort with the general cleanliness of the room and bathroom it could be an excellent value for money hotel, well situated for shopping etc. I like the enviroment and alot roadstall foodies around there. The room is quite spacious and neat too. the friendly environment and the place is convenient to hunt for food,near to all the shopping place. As a whole the double room with all modern facilities. Ecotel may wish to improve the cleanliness of the hotel rooms. We found baby cockroaches in the room when we returned at night. No breakfast, but we knew that in advance. Plenty of food around the hotel:) Try the roasted corn at the street corner with salt and butter!. There are mosquitoes in the room and alot around the hotel lobby. Wifi connection is very poor. Keeps going off. poor breakfast & extremely poor WIFI. Infact WIFI did not work at all in my 3 days stay over there. The water pressure always goes up and down...hotel doesnt have bell boy to assist with the luggage. Bathroom amenities did not include toothbrush and toothpaste!!! Isn't that an essential thing? Poor wifi signal at certain rooms. 401 family room had strong signal throughout our stay but 528 had extremely weak signal. Shifted to 441 in the end which had a router just outside, however signal was weird, came on and off at intervals. Hotel was just a bit far from the bts train stations and airport railway station. The bathroom was generally grubby and the bed linen, although clean, was grey. The drapes on the tables in the beautiful breakfast room were also badly in need of a wash. What a shame -- alittle extra effort would reap great rewards as it is a super little hotel. I hope the reception staff can improve their attitude and give the welcome smile to the guest. Hope will getting improve when i back to here again. The WIFI connection is extremely slow,hope it can improve. As soon as I checked-in the male front office executive impolitely asked me to pay upfront even after my reply that on-line payment was made well in advance. After my insistence the lady staff member checked the records and confirmed receipt of payment. Extremely poor breakfast. Wifi unable to use from my room location, no improvement even after notifying hotel staffs for 3days straight. Taxi desk ripping us off. A trip to airport had to be haggled with driver after we got in half way, claiming he gave commission to the security guy who hailed him in. Jacked up from 400b to 600b for a less than 30 min ride. Breakfast till 10am but by 9.30am everything was gone. Staff were not helpful with info. Seems poor training. internet. no comment. very poor room facilities. shower head corroded not working well. you can't get the water temperature you wanted. TV were old and lousy with a short variety of channel provided. THE WORST PART IS THE WIFI PROVIDED. is like a scam for me during my stay. the wifi at the lobby is the ONLY wifi you are able to get online. OTHER wifi spots are always IN SERVICE. the staff could be more friendly & helpful. not very cheap rates but no facilities at all,there was no kettel in room, on asking for one the same was available at 30bht per day.something unheard of, room is just okay. The service at the reception was bad. The staff are not friendly at all and approachable. The hospitality was bad. The facilities at the hotel is also bad. No hot water kettle in the hotel room. No ironing service and had to pay 10 baht to use the iron board. Would not recommend this Hotel to anyone. Cause I believe in hospitality and good customer service. noise can be heared, may be because wall insulation, room is not clean and location is very crowded.
