I like that the location is on Sukhumvit 55 (main road). It's safer. There's a plaza right infront with a supermarket, 24 hrs Burger King, Starbucks and few restaurants. You can find a few restaurants too along Sukhumvit 55. The hotel also provides a Tuk-Tuk service to the nearby BTS station Thonglor. The hotel is known with taxi drivers so that easy when giving directions.Though the hotel is a distance from the main shopping area, I love the hotel for the facilities they provide(washing machi.
all reviews » Room and facilities were modern and great. Excellent quality overall. Great gym, nice big rooms, kitchen and bathroom were very nice. Bathrobes and laundry was over the top nice. Felt very much like home. Great views from balcony and fantastic location on Thong Lo. I look forward to staying here again. The staff was friendly and helpful. Good situation, Thong Lo 's a very nice place to find good restaurant. The supermarket's in front of the hôtel. There's a tuk tuk service to go to BTS. The hotel has limited choice for breakfast. The bed was on wheels and as a result rolled away from headboard when sitting up and against. The pool was spectacular, but cold and mostly in shade during the day. Staff at the hotel struggled to answer my questions every time. I asked for a cab once, they made me wait half an hour to then tell me that they couldn't find one. I fell coming out from the pool because the floor was so slippery. I asked for ice at the bar counter to put on the bruise, it took them forever to bring it. I asked for a towel once nobody cared to show me where to get it. They seemed to not care and wouldn't make an effort to assist you. - Terrible traffic during peak hour. The restaurant, marbles, was poor for such an expensive hotel with bored staff who could hardly speak English. No mini bar No food 24 hr Swimming pool close early Poor bathroom suppliers (shampoo, shower gel..etc) No international breakfast. Not a big dislike, but the room layout was a little weird... Poor breakfast. Sorry to say but some staff is absolutely useless... takes them ages to give you an answer. No room service after 11PM. nothing. Personnel at reception not very sympathic and conciliant. We need to ask several times towels or pillow our daugther before got them.
