Location is perfect if you want to buy some souvenirs, try streetfood and want to feel the nightlife. It's right on khao san road but in my room I didnt realize that - very quiet! Pool on the top is very nice and clean! Room was clean and yes the matress is right on the floor but didnt bother me - was one of the most comfortable ones I had in asia! Breakfast was good. Location is perfect just in front of all crowd at khaosan Rd. Many interesting place could easily accessed from here. Pool is neat and clean, food for breakfast is OK, you could buy many cheap tour just in front of this hotel.
all reviews » We stayed here a couple of nights to be close to Khoasan Road, was perfect. Really nice rooms and rooftop pool, not too loud (it's literally on ksr) so ideal location- we had a twin room and was very cost effective, great. Great location, easy to travel over the city and there are many travel agency around so we can travel outside of Bangkok as well. Very clean and beautiful room. Friendly and helpful staffs. The price. Location bang in the centre of Khaosan but very quiet (rooms at the back), great rooftop pool an bar, friendly staff, clean spacious rooms. For a little under £20 a night an utter bargain. Pool on the roof until midnight.. Very noisy but depence where is your room, our was on the back side so for us good.. Safe in the room.. We have bottle water every day so was great. Won't find better for the money and location! Great find. Late check out option also ideal for onward late journeys (E.G. Nighbus). Roof top pool is even better than the pictures!. The hotel cost us £25 for the night, booked through letsbookhotel.com and it was fantastic value for money and situated bang in the middle of the famous Koahsan road!. Located a bit noisy street. From my room, you can hear the loud music from the streets outside. Breakfast was not great, apart from that it was great. Bathroom fixtures need some repair/maintenance (Rm 4023 - sink faucet loose & toilet floor seal leaky). Nothing specific. Lack of towels. Very noisy, tv only 6 channels... If u don't like to get wet don't be there between 12-16 April (songkran festival - Thais celebrate their new year, everybody stands on the street with water guns or bowls with water- they don't care if u like it or not u will get wet all over your body, also your bags and stuff if its not waterproof- there is no way to go through this street without getting wet like u jumped into a pool with your clothes on) Free wifi very slow. Massively loud music next door, but the hotel is great value. Pros and cons I guess. It's so noisy to sleep at night. The bed is too small. Again, if you are looking for a serene travel, this is not the place to stay. Besides, the breakfast menu was monotonous. Boring!. breakfast staff were VERY unfriendly and the hotel was very noisy from bars outside until after 4 most nights. Awful staff!!!. The front desk table staff. Bad attitude , rude not helpful .. This people seriously need to send for training ... Bad. Rooftop bar was empty, staff were ok but not overly friendly. Where do I begin? The staff try very hard but when confronted with the onslaught of Brits abroad who seem to frequent The Dang Derm they really don't stand a chance. If you don't intend to do any sleeping then this is the place for you otherwise do yourself a favour and give this place a miss!. The place has gone downhill a lot in the past year. The rooms smell terrible and cleanliness is clearly lacking. Very noisy neighbourhood, cross the hotel there is a club and the music is extremelly loud. It's good if you don't want to sleep too much in this hotel. Staff level of english pretty poor. Extremelly noisy if room facing directly Khao San Road. Some staff at the reception were so rude to us...we cause if you have extra person to stay with you the sign says 500 baht but he tried to charge 1000 baht so we walked away. He was also making faces behind our backs and threw a notebook infront of us... Breakfast and shower (at least in our room) are very bed. The area is really noisy. Breakfast unvaried, too basic. Noisy rooms to street and other rooms. Very loud at night, but to be expected on Khoasan Road!. showers cold, Even after all the night life had died down at 3am the hotel was noisy Over priced Building works going on Breakfast was a joke and not worth having Window in the room opened up into someone elses room.
