Amazing hotel! Staff are more than happy to help with anything at all and make you feel very welcome. My stay here was fantastic. The room was fantastic, very well looked after and clean, amazing views - we even had fresh fruit served each day of our stay. The spa, pool and gym again all fab! Make sure you go up to Vertigo for dinner or a drink - absolutely amazing views of Bangkok and the food/drinks are so good! I have no complaints about anything at all for the hotel and couldn't recommend i.
all reviews » the hotel is very tall, 60+ and we had the room on the 58th floor, view was awesome. rooms were normal sized, bathrooms ok, the daily scents in the room were amazing, beds comfy. breakfast was good variety and very good view with fountain. the concierge service was excellent. the hotel is awesome but not like usual banyan tree hotels. spa was the best. free water in the rooms is great. Service; reception & consierge staff and restaurant/bar staff are very customer-oriented; good quality food; Saffron restaurant is a gret authentic experience; roof-top bar is very nice - a lot friendlier and much more relaxing than a similar roof-top bar at the Lebua tower hotel (which is quite a hostile place) - too bad we could not stay long because of an early morning flight. Absolutely world class service and facilities in the heart of Bangkok Gourmet was fabulous.. Concierge service is good.. they arrange for taxi and tell you how much to pay which is at par with regular taxis The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.. Hotel location is close to BTS Sky Train and MRT subway which gets you to shopping and markets very easily. Since our flight was only in the evening they let us leave our luggages during the day and even let us take a shower in the spa facilities before going to the airport. That was quite a treat!. Upgraded on arrival, is always a good start! Great hotel with a central location, the Vertigo bar at the top really is an asset - although a little cramped with non-patrons! Breakfast was presented with a great choice and a great setting!. The care taken by the concierge/door staff to help with questions, check taxi information and keep a record of taxi numbers taken. Should keep more tea bags in mini bar.. some of us are tea lovers :) Rest I cant find any fault.. :). Rooms were well maintained, however a few hairs found around the apartment, which was a little off-putting!. That people try to 'take you for a ride' because you are staying in a nice hotel. I'm sure prices were upped because of where we were staying. It is just then such hard work to get to the correct price, and gets tedious. Nothing was dislikeful except the horrible dirty crunchy old discoloured netting that hung behind the curtains that should be white & fresh like, it spoiled the rest of the room which was a premier/club room & beautiful. This is minor I know but important for the hotel as its a lovely place to be?. Didn't like to congested entry way for both cars and people. There were some mix ups on the room service menu but "Peach" who in in charge of guest services responded very professional and courteous to the mix up on two room service orders. KUDOS TO PEACH AS WELL. She is also second to none in the industry for her position. Wifi is free in the hotel but connecting to one their PCs is extremely expensive.breakfast has a big choice but is very expensive. The approach to the hotel is always pretty uninspiring!. Nothing. Outdoor pool was pretty average. Sky bar and all other bars at the hotel closed when it started to rain, and the only place to sit was in the lobby. First morning I had to wait 25 minutes for the service of my eggs. I had to request this another 2 times before it came. The second morning I had to ask 5 times for the coffee which arrived after I had finished eating my breakfast. So we left one day early to avoid further disappointment. The swimming pool a bit small, it should have some discount for in house guest when using spa or dinning in hotel. Little issue with the credit card money reservation, then solved; windows not very clean. Bit pricey on food and especially wine. The limited availability of space beside the pool. For a delux room, I expected complimentary airport pick up. Ants were atracted to my flower garland :(. Prices on the slightly high side for everything but it is expected for 5 star u guess. Check-in was very slow. Staff were nice enough about it but not what was expected in this level of hotel - we waited 45 minutes. the price and hassle of getting tok tooks and taxis to and from the hotel.....they increase the price up to 3times the amount against metre. Location, even so the hotel had a personal tuktuk service who could bring you to the nearest bts (free of charge). Stay away from rooms by the elevator, it gets noisy with the high speed elevator whooshing away all night. We had to wait 20-30 minutes for the luggage delivery from the room and to the room. That seemed too long, especially in case we were in harry to the airport. There was nothing not to like. Staff quality has some room for improvement. I booked the club room and checked out at 19th floor. The staff made me wait at the waiting area and forgot to prove services. I had to remind them two times before I can finally check out. Vertigo restaurant a bit pricy. nothing.
