what we like most is the swimming pool. had been swimming everyday throughout our stay. Location of the hotel was near the street food and its convenient to get local food at cheap prices. The breakfast was good with many varieties. will come back to stay in this hotel again. Next time i will book the pool access room. What a wonderful experience!! Great and friendly staff who were very helpful with booking our island tour, beautiful hotel which is very clean and modern, and a wonderful included breakfast! The pool is great and the swim up bar is awesome as well. I would highly recommend this hotel!.
all reviews » It was awesome not just because we got upgraded to the Family Suite for free!!! The location may be a bit further than the 'main street' where all the action is but I prefered the coziness and privateness of the hotel location... Everything was good and my kids loved the loft.... We booked room with pool access and it was only a bit extra compare to normal room rates and we were glad we made this decision. The pool is very nice and staff from this hotel are friendly and helpful. Hotel location is ok and main street is within walking distance. The pool and pool bar were fantastic. Rooms were clean, modern and AC worked great. Wifi worked well most of the time although it is strongest in the restaurant, pool and lobby. Great location, great price. Breakfast is good and swimming pool is excellent. Staffs are so nice. Also its convenient to book a tour (like pp island, 4 island, etc.) or book a shuttle bus to airport at the resort. Amazing from beginning to end. We had to leave early in the morning and they had no problem in serving us breakfast 20 minutes early. It was the best hotl we've stayed in!. The best way to describe the Red Ginger Chis Resort is “A penny short of a pound”. Is the hotel clean? The answer is yes but with a little bit of effort the rooms could really looked clean and fresh. The room on the first floor looked old and tired. A bit of paint could work wonders. We also stayed in the room on the 4th floor. Here the rooms are better and the money we paid reflected it. The position is good because it is close to everything yet away eno. Spacious Rooms Great Location Good Pool Area / Pool Bar. The colour& design of the building. was checked in to a room facing the back of the hotel with the view of a piece of empty land. totally let down. then we asked for a change to pool view which is very much better with no extra charges. the room was a bit old but still clean. The hotel doesn't have massage service and we have to travel very far for a good massage. Do not try the massage at the opposite hotel. it was terrible. There was a bit of a mix up with the taxi pick up from the airport. We ended up just getting our own (which in fact was a bit cheaper), but Red Ginger was very apologetic and accommodating and quickly removed the charges so it didn't end up being a problem at all. nothing. The bed was hard as a rock. So bad that I would not stay there again. Also the staff that I encountered did not have the best English. N/A. Training facility is not good, but there's a hotel 150 meters further in that has nice room for strength training for 200 baht per training and a gym in the town with great facility for 300 baht. The onlyone bad thing was that our room was near the elevator, but we changed the room and it became very nice olace to play for 3 nights. Nothing. Food is not that great but still ok. Squeaky floorboards in duplex suite. Limited parking space. Had to pay for WIFI in bedroom. Internet wifi workonly in resepcion. Instrumental version of Titanic every morning during breakfast... View from the back bedrooms. More Wardrobe & Draw space so you could actually unpack. More Sun Loungers in the sun, most of them positioned in the shade and very hard to move.
