This was a fantastic location, right on the beach front. Eating breakfast with a view of the islands and passing longtail boats gettign ready for their days work. Close to the shops and some excellent restaurants at very reasonable prices. Very helpful tour organiser and close to treakking, snorkelling and the islands. The rooms are comfortable and private. Happy hour at the bars provides excellent value with views over the beach and stunning sunsets.

Rooms are spacious & the grounds at the resort are well spread out with nice gardens. A lovely place to relax & spend a few days. Staff are always friendly & helpful. Resort is quite big, spread over acres of land and having an amazing location, pristine beach on one front and the market on the other. Room balconies give a soothing view of the wonderful pool and the garden. Buffet breakfast by the beach is simply great. Having stayed in Ao Nang area for a couple of years, I would say that this resort has been in the best location. It's right at the end of the beach close to long tail boats booking office, all bars/restaurants Rooms spacious and clean. We loved our bungalow so close to the beach with lovely sea views, and very spacious also so quiet. The breakfast was lovely also so close to the beach. The staff were lovely. Excellent location, close to everything. Right on the beach. Very nice swimming pool also. Good selection for breakfast. Close to Shops and Restaurants. Had a trip to the Emerald pond was very good.but needs some long walk to get there. fantasic resort, would recomend anyone to stay, right on the beach but the quiet end of aonang beach, but a 2 min walk to the bars and restaurants, best hotel on aonang beach area,. Excellent location with a private beach where you can see the cliffs around Aonang as well as the islands nearby. The Resort is very large with all types of room. Location: This resort has private beach. And it is in the main market area. The area is huge and quite well-maintained and clean. Breakfast was good too. "Krabi Resort" is just FANTASTIC ... I enjoyed my stay there and would like to recommend this to all the travellers who are planning for Ao Nang ... The breakfast buffet made several of us sick, even my Thai friend. You can get the visit of monkeys looking for some food. In the hotel part, the room was quite noisy (air conditioned but especially a live concert from the bar just next to the hotel). A big part of the hotel is under construction : this might be noisy during the day if you are living close to the construction site. Staffs are good and friendly but should understand a bit more english. Otherwise very good experience. Nothing at all ... n/a. Rooms in hotel nearest main road entrance very noisy from adjacent bar with live music. Very poor WiFi everywhere. No spare toilet roll in room. Breakfast very average, coffee undrinkable, no bacon. No poolside food available. Breakfast staff not clearing or topping up cofffee enough. Terribly disturbing smell in the bathroom, not acceptable in 4-star hotel. No hand wash or bidee in the bathroom. Heavy construction work ongoing at the hotel area. We have stayed here three times before and it is sad to see how the rooms are detoriating over time. Typical Thai lack of maintenance!. It is old and a lot of its premise is not well-kept. I have been charged a higher rate for a room I didn't book after an upgrade. Bakery choice limited and poor quality. Fruit juice was simply sweetened water. 2.Room was poorly maintained..every day we had to get the plumber because toilet was not flushing.Lights did not work over the bed, 2. the noise and pollution from the numerous Long Tailed boats makes swimming in the sea unpleasant and dangerous. Had for the staff to understand english can take awhile sometimes to get what you want. Not the typical traveller hotel. This hotel is more for people who stay two or tree weeks in one place. The common rubbish bin was not emptied during my entire stay of 5days. And its just in front of the bungalow. Too many Thai guest group may cause you inconvenience. If they gather they may be noisy. Staff can hardly understand English (as usual in Thailand). The staff was nowhere to be found, if you needed any help, it is impossible to get any help, neither with luggage nor with room service. We literally waited for 1 hour for hotel staff to pick up our luggage form the room before checking out. Staff need better training, which is a general problem at Krabi compared to Phuket. Service level considered too low for a resort in this category. Some of the staff were quite disappointing for example having the phone put down on us when we tried to ring for room service and having large scale building work right outside our window. We changed rooms 3 times. Shower was broken. Hotel need to update. Wifi wasn't working. a lot of moscitos. Service is poor. My daughter got sick and they even charge exorbitant transportation rate to sent her to nearby clinic. We had 3 chalets and all are infested with mosquitoes, cockroach and even centipedes in room. Cleaning. Rooms are dirty. Breakfast is poor. No free Wifi in the rooms. Very expensive for what you get comparing to other resorts.
