Swissotel Zurich is the highest hotel of Zurich and is located directly opposite the Oerlikon Train Station, a 5-minute train ride from the Main Station and the airport and a 10-minute walk from the Zurich Trade Fair. It offers a spa area on the 32nd floor with an infinity pool and panoramic views. The elegant rooms and suites overlook the Swiss Alps and the city and feature air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of delicacies for a healthy start into the day. On warm days, meals can be enjoyed on the terrace opening to the market square. The Pürovel Spa & Sport also features a fitness centre, a steam room, a sauna and a hot tub. Swissotel Zurich's convention center provides space for events for up to 1000 people. A bakery, a hairdresser, a cafe and a shoe shop are located in the lobby area of the hotel.

The staff = friendly and helpful.Even though we had a booking for 3rooms, we changed it upon arrival to 2 rooms only due to one person whocouldn't make it.The Hotel understood the situation and didn't charge usfor that room. Where the other Hotel where we stayed after the Swissotelcharged us for one night of the extra room. And we loved the idea thatthe Hotel is so close to the railway...

The pool/spa has an amazing view of Zurich, although it is slightly outof town, it is only 2 stops (5 mins) on the train and the station isdirectly across the road. The room was comfortable and the staff wereextremely helpful. From my month long trip through Europe, the swissotelin Zurich was by far the best. Will definitely stay again.The staff were more than helpful during our stay and all were extremely friendly. They all spoke excellent English which was also very helpful! The actual hotel itself was fantastic, and excellent value for money. The pool facilities on the second floor were excellent too.The staff were very efficient and freindly. Most went out of thier wayto make sure that we were comfortable and were very helpful withadditonal information and tips about the City.The Spa was also veryclean and with fantastic facilities! I recommned this hotel to everyone.The hotel gave us a champagne as a new year gift. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very secure as customers had to swipe room card to get on the lift. Breakfast was fantastic!!Definitely recommend this hotel!. The quite area. convenience to shops, proximity to airport, though difficult to carry luggages up stairs at train station platform. Would be good if hotel provide shuttle service to airport.Just that the hotel was not too central - but it was no problem at allas it was right next to the train station and hardly took any time toget into Zurich city centre. (I actually think it is better not being ina very busy noisy area) So this is actually a compliment, and not acomplaint.Location is a bit far, but transportation is very convenient.Hotel is appr. 20 min by tram from the center, but they provided the tickets for groung transport.Paying for parking.No Smoking. I didn't have a problem with the bathroom being glass pannelled, however it should be hi lighted that the rooms may not be suitable for people who are shy!!. • The room size was relatively small for a business room • Breakfast isnot included in the price of the room • The bathroom door was notsealable (a sliding door) so it is uncomfortable to use the bathroomwhen there is someone else in the room (for example your wife orhusband) because they could hear everything !!!!. The cost of everything in Zurich is high, but even by that standard, Ithink the cost of extras at the hotel was too high. Specifically, thebreakfast was too expensive. And parking was too expensive.I did'nt know that I have to pay the breakfeast, I find out after I had the breakfeast, so a better comunication with the client at arrival.It was actually far from the center of town.Wireless internet is not free and breakfast is not inclued in the rate. Also the AC is not that efficient. Overall I liked the hotel and I hope tat these things are considered.The parkng of the car is so expensive.Exact Hotel location not mentioned in the Advertisement. car parking was costly (36CHF per day) it should be offered free or with max of charge (5CHF) per day , Breakfast can be improved .the cost of internet conection. Some women staff at the reception were not very friendly.The parking was very expensive.The Amrita spa is very very small compared to other Amritas around the world. The changing room looks like an elevator ;-). Parking fees seem a littel excessive. health centre did not include equipment for weigth excersises. Area. The SPA area is relatively basic for a 4 star hotel. The room climatisation can not be adjusted.location. b/fast could be included in the price.Spa services may be better. No. The safety box was faulty I spoke to the reception staff in order to fixit but they did not responded.the bathroom was a little small.
