Excellent hotel, very friendly staff, nicely located. Amazing is the sound isolation, the hotel is located in the heart of the city with trams running next to it, still if you close the windows, nothing will disturb you. Fabulous breakfast with a wide choice. I especially liked the design of the rooms and the 'integrated' shower space. There are a few sweet touches to welcome you!.
all reviews » The stuff was extremely friendly, the room nice and clean, location in a quiet area but in the same time close to city centre. They gave us an upgrade when we arrived to the hotel. The reception was very helpful and helped us with all the requests. good size and very clean room. close to the lake and the city. very polite staff, what else we should look for. The location is quite central and the hotel is modern and clean. Location - close to Old Town. Good value for money. Brekfast. The air-conditioning should be fixed on the 4th floor. The shower door does not fully open and only left a very small space to enable one to squeeze through- probably a design fault that needs to be fixed. Anyone of more than average build would simply not be able to use the shower. The size of the room but I understand it's normal in a city such Zurich. We tried to check out at 13:00 free of charge and usually hotels let you stay one hour extra free of charge and then any longer comes with a cost. The Flemmings was very strict and we had to pay 40CHF for one hour. nothing. Nothing. The hotel is not close to the historic city but it is on a direct bus line to it. None. I expected it to be bigger and nicer, based on the pictures. In fact it is very small. It looks more like a nice 3 star hotel rather than a 4 star. I also did not like the open bathroom/ shower into the bedroom. they don't have place even to stop front of hotel, as well as a parking place for guests. the open shower in the room. Restaurant and bar service - not a particularly comfortable or cowy environment. The noise at night was so bad I had to ask to change rooms. The hotel has a nightclub on one side and two pubs on the other, and I practically had a crowd outside my window. I would not go back. Price too high for the size of room. Could be a little cleaner... On the edge of being tired, would need a little bit of refurbish. It is not a 4 star hotel it is a motel. Parking 5 blocks away No place to stop your car- main entrans on crossroads. Receptions - is the bar stage you never know to order a beer or give a pasport for chek in.
