An absolute gem of a hotel, situated a few steps from the shore of Lake Zug, and right in the middle of the wonderful Medieval old town. Staff are so kind and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. My single room (405) was small but perfect, with air con, coffee machine, tons of channels in English, an incredible view of both the town and lake, a spotless and modern bathroom and a superb bed. Heavenly. Breakfast was plentiful and served in a pleasant environment.

They let me borrow an electric outlet adaptor at no charge for the duration of my stay. Love the virtually lakeside location. Rooms were also well-appointed, attractively modern, and clean. LOVED the comforter and mattress. Last but not least, the chocolate syrup cake at the restaurant on the ground floor was possibly the best dessert I've had in Europe. The hote lis situated a few steps from the shore of Lake Zug, and right in the middle of the wonderful old town. Staff are so kind and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. My room (305) was small but had the only balcony in the hotel , with lake view and the old town.The coffee machine,was a real wonderfull surprise . a modern bathroom and a good bed.A good breakfast served in a pleasent way. I'm struggling to think...perhaps the air con machine was a little overpowering for such a small room, but seriously - that's no complaint!. A little small, but not unnecessarily so given the price compared to other options in the area. Would also have liked an iron in room, but they were nice about letting me use the cleaning people's room and iron when I asked. I wish there was a lobby to sit with friends since the rooms are smal, but that's the only thing. Would have liked to sit outside on the veranda for breakfast. It would have been nice to have been advised that the following day of our stay was a bank holiday. We missed out on shopping as all the shops were closed and we had no idea!! If we had known the day we checked in we would have bought items we saw! But this is a minor point. No room service. Bathroom was very small to the extent that had to open shower door if I dropped anything as too small to bend down with door closed. At the price being paid would have expected something larger. no parking. Quite expensive. small rooms. Limited breakfast. No real negatives to mention.
