  It's very conveniently located for the Sunnegga/Rothorn funicular and Gornergrat train. The staff were very kind and helpful to my elderly parents. Excellent buffet breakfast - really very good for this category of hotel. The pine bar area and restaurant are simply and attractively styled.   The staff in the Arcare building were very friendly and helpful. Room cleaning and maintenance were punctual and efficient. Front desk staff were very helpful. Restaurant was good and waiting staff friendly and attentive. Hotel bar was good for meeting and chatting with other guests with a very nice and friendly barman in charge. A 5 minute walk to rent skis/sports shop, and another 5 minutes to the Sunneggabahn funicul - 1 min walking distance from train station. Spacious room with a couzy sofa and an armchair, huge balcony for a five o'clock tea; nicely designed bathroom with a window. Slippers/bath gown. Swmming pool, sauna, solarium - all very nice.

  Our room was bright and very comfortable. Nice to have a separate living area which is unusual to find in most hotel rooms. Spa and pool area also very pleasant.   We were 13 nights in the hotel and had a fabulous time. It is a very nicely renovated hotel, modern but very user friendly. Rooms are spaceous and nicely decorated. Sauna was very complete for a hotel sauna. Massage should be pre booked in winter but are very good and can be recommended. Dinner was excellent as well as breakfast.   We were two families (4 adults, 3 young children) staying for 3 nights. Location is excellent, in a quiet area only 2 minutes walk from the center. Apartment is well appointed with luxury/design fittings especially in the kitchen and bathroom. Apart from a bottle of red wine and fresh roses, they also provided you with some coffee and tea capsules... what people say » (a la Nespresso) and tabs for the dishwasher, which was really welcome as no one wants to buy dishwasher tabs or coffee for a short stay. The layout - A very nice and big apartment, perfect for families with small kids. We got a very pleasant welcome with red wine and fresh roses at the beds. There were Two big bedrooms and two luxurious bathrooms. The apartment is located only few minutes walking to the town center. There was a nice balcony with lovely view to the Matterhorn
