We had a little problem finding it, but but a guy came out on the street and gave us the key and pointed us to our room!! Extremely friendly staff. There was a quite low ceiling, but beds were good. Seemed to be newly renovated. Very clean room! Very good value for money and they did not lie about the stunning view of Matterhorn from the room! Try also the cosy restaurant downstairs, they serve very fine grilled meats prepared at the fireplace in the middle of the restaurant. This is also where.

Owner sent email before arrival to instruct where to find key. Lovely and clean room with great view and balcony, tv and all necessary amenities. The keys have been prepared and ready upon arrival to pick up. It was clean, delivered what it promised, rooms cleaned every day. Breakfast good. Breakfast ok. You have place to leave the luggage during the day. Clean. Ambience and breakfast which was brilliant. Staff and owner very friendly and helpful. All was exceptional. The restaurant downstairs do provide service for hotel customers, if they are open at the time you arrive. The breakfast is good, not that excellent, though. We had dinner in the restaurant too. It was good, not cheap, but this is Zermatt in Switzerland, what can you expect?. Location is good. you can ski down and then a short walk to the hotel. its about half way between the cable car and the train up so 2 options close at hand to use the mountain. We did not receive code to get room key from safe, causing a delay. Make sure with hotel how to get your key if you arrive before 17:00. Tiny breakfast (one pack of sliced ham, one pack of sliced cheese and some small breads). Staff was not particularly welcoming above the minimum of friendliness. On arrival just a note stuck to the door telling you how to get your key, never had any contact with staff, only at breakfast. Did not give us our holiday card. too expensive in my opinion, but i guess it is one of the cheapest in Zermatt. Small room. breakfast very basic, same every day. It is completely self-paced. Do not expect anyone is there when you check in. The host did have a good arrangement. You just need to follow the instructions, there should not be any problem for getting your key and room. Finding the location with heavy baggage was not easy to us. The breakfast was a bit of a joke. It is one of the worst breakfasts I have had in a hotel.
