all reviews » The staff was very helpful, they gave me free bus passes for the city bus. Told me exactly how to get to several waterfalls. Extremely friendly and the cheapest place I could find in the area.The Hotel is too comfortable , well maintained and lit by staff who maintain very high standards of the service to call it SBH. Well evreything was great from staff to view , from cleanliness to perfect laundry , from rooms making to the vicinity of the different sight seeing places. The staff was courteous and I was attended with lovely smile and my all needs were always like a priority . Surely satisfactorily. It is a budget-friendly hotel. I stayed with two very small kids and it was ok and probably deserves a ranking higher than the average ranking given to it. I book 3 rooms because other hotel is full during our trip. Room is quite big and spacious. Parking is free and very near to your room. The design is like American motel. Location is good as near the main road, and 15-20 mins walking to Wilderswil train station. the location. low budget. Nothing. There is nothing complain about. Wish i had more time to stay here.....Too bad , I was there during the winter time...couldn't enjoy the pool. It was very cold and the heating came on pretty late on the first day of our stay, and even when we forced them to turn it on. It did not come on the second day at all. Staff are not friendly. and they only accept cash only. Luckily I have some extra cash during the check in process. And the exchange rate is expensive ( I dont have enough CHF, so pay in Euro). The motel surroundings seems old and not very well maintained. The furniture is old and radio & tv did not work. and the heater did not work, so the room is cold even in May. Like other comments, last resort only. it is very bad ,there is no body at the reception ,you have to call by mobile. it is derty,tolles not clean and i had 21 franks change they didnt give.i advice booking to stop dealing with this place. bad staff no changing of bed sheets everday not cleaning room everyday not clearing garbage from room bed sheets are changed only when you take departure.
