The excellent, local food, the location and the buildings, the friendliness of the staff which made us feel very welcome, the informal and friendly atmosphere. It's a very small, low-key hotel - great as a base if you want to go hiking, visit the other valleys in the area and just relax. But only go there if you don't mind helping yourself - starters and desserts as well as breakfast are served as a buffet, you are expected to pick and open the wine bottle directly in the cellar and you even co.
