The room/apartment was large enough for a family of 5. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast room was lovely with big windows and a bit of a view. Breakfast spread (which consisted of cold cuts, cheese, bread, cereals, yoghurt, beverages & juice & fruit) was decent. Coop (a supermarket) was a less than 5-minute walk away. We truly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again when we are next in St. Moritz.
all reviews » Very nice hotel, a short walk from town at the other end of the lake. The hotel has a modern feel with a comfortable sitting area near the reception area. A modern lift transported us to our spacious room. The bathroom is clean and the shower is very modern. The bed and pillows are exceptionally comfortable. Wide screen T.v with 3 English channels. The subdued lighting in the room made reading a challenge. Great hotel! The location is excellent, just a few minutes to the lake. There's a convenient parking place really close to the hotel, and also a supermarket if you need anything. The hotel itself is very charming. The rooms are spacious and seem to be recently renovated, so everything looks new. The restaurant downstairs is very good, the price is fair and the staff is friendly. Would stay there again. Outstanding value for money in very pricey St. Moritz. Rooms on the back side of the hotel, which have windows to the main road of Via Grevas, are very spacious and have a small sofa and coffee table (other rooms may also have this). It makes for a very relaxing stay in the room. The included breakfast was very good and allowed for use of the coffee maker offering a selection of drinks. Good cafe/restaurant part of hotel. Whilst location a short walk from the town centre, the frequent bus service was brilliant and immediately outside the hotel door. It was easy to transfer to the train station with suitcases by bus. The restaurant and bar and it's staff were very good. The kitchen facilities provided were excellent. Nearby Restaurant Veltlinerkeller was really an amazing find; I recommend this place to anyone staying in St Moritz Bad. Comfortable beds and lovely linen,friendly staff and a good selection for breakfast. We walked form the station and it is quite easy even with luggage, about 1 km.it is a quiet location. Pleasant, spacious room, with glimpses of the lake past other buildings. Views to the mountains. Good breakfast. Bus stop at the door. Pleasant short walk to the lake. Well appointed receptions including rest area centred around woodburning fireplace and a very comfortable and relaxing bar/restaurant. Lovely rooms and excellent location. The cleanliness of the room. Not much except there was no coffee making facilities in the room even though it was equipped with a kitchen. WiFi worked in the room, we could send mail but not receive. They said breakfast was included but when we got the bill it was more than we expected indicating that there had been a charge for breakfast, there was also a tax charge that had not been indicated on our 'bookings.com' quote. At times, service was slow at the bar and at the front desk (particularly when checking out first thing in the morning--no one was there!). Some will not like that the walk into St. Moritz Dorf (main village) is uphill and about 20 minutes, but you get to soak in fantastic views of the lake and mountains while making the journey. Nothing to add. Front desk staff were efficient and helpful but not very friendly (the manager was friendly). The room was too hot, overheated for the time of year but it was possible to open a window to cool it down a bit . Quite a steep walk to the main town, but frequent buses available. No hot food for breakfast. A bit far from the station and main town but with the bus stop at the front door, not a major negative. We didn't like that the Whole of St. Moritz was closed for May and that at no time during my searching on the Internet did it mention this. If I had known we would only have stayed one day. Second bedroom in 5 adult flat like a grotto, but serviceable. Rooms too hot'especially for sleeping. According to the room type, we feel that the price is too high. The Weather. None. Room was a little bit hot, maybe there were some adjustments that we did not know how tinkle with. An english "how to" may be helpful. Hot due to pizza and bakery in the basement. No safe box on the room. I don't like your pillow. It's very soft. I think this hotel gears up for the tourist ski season. Bar staff slow or not present, breakfast staff didnt seem to care, we were more of inconvenience. Dont ask for english menu at restuarant. Pillows terrible, too thineven with two. No in room facilities with only soda water provided inroom. No facilities to make hot drinks in room. The receptionist was not as warm as I expected her to be, but the waitress n waiter at the restaurant were more friendly and made us felt welcomed. The Pillows were terrible. Extremely uncomfortable hard bed with too soft pillows. Breakfast was average. Expensive dinner in their restaurant with average food.
