  It was a very pretty area, relaxing for a short stay. Mybstaybwas only 4 days l'm spent it visiting the cable car lifts, and the villages close by. The village is beautiful, clean and easybtonget around.   Hotel alphorn was covered with snow and had ski hire and a beginners slope and activities behind the hotel. The surroundings in gstaad were magical and inside was warm and hoey with all the chalet's exposed timbers etc. Food in the restaurant was the best- I reccomend rack of lamb.   The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the centre of this beautiful village and a few minutes walk from the train station. I loved my room, with its balcony and view of the mountains.
