This is a small hotel attached to a large restaurant, probably the city's premier restaurant. I had a very large spacious room and was very comfortable. One may trundle one's suitcase from the railway station. The hotel is in a really good location for tourists. Great location near central train station and old town with places to eat and visit. Quaint location near historical sites, easy to reach with public transportation, the Rhein Falls. Staff was great worked hard to please our group.

We had a large room and it was very comfortable. The location was convenient for looking round the town. The staff were helpful and friendly. room was very large with modern facilities awesome lights in the room. It was in the heart of Schaffausen very centrally located. Ideal for a visit to Rhein Falls. Interesting old town, worth a visit. No air conditioning and noise outside was not great for sleeping. The breakfast was a bit limited considering the price. basic bathroom. After a certain time of night you had to go to the back of the hotel and enter through a locked back door. Then turn on all of the lights as it was completely dark.
