Really friendly manager/hostess, very helpful. Offered us refreshments on our arrival after a long journey to get to Sass Grund. Definately recommend to anyone looking for hotel in the area of Zermatt. Very friendly owner and staff, good restaurant, easy carpark in front of hotel. its great location and the staff were so friendly. A bit disorganised with which rooms were assigned to us. Part of the group were sent to another hotel.

The Saastal is one of the most interesting alpine valleys of Switzerland.

There is an attractive offer for young and old winter sport enthusiasts. Pistes with guaranteed snow for skiers, carvers and snowboarders offer ideal conditions for winter fun. Lovers of Après Ski also find lots of bars in the surroundings. Enjoy scenic winter hiking paths, natural and artificial ice rinks for skating and curling.

Snow tubing, an 11 km-long tobogganing track, access to the 26 km-long cross-country track, a winter wonderland for snow shoe hiker as well as Gorge Alpine - Canyoning without water - these are some of the facilities you can expect in this scenic valley.
