The Kristall Saphir Resort & Spa is a family-run hotel in the picturesque village of Saas Almagell, a 10-minute drive from Saas-Fee. It offers you a sauna, a steam bath and free Wi-Fi. All rooms have a balcony and a satellite TV. Fine cuisine and a rich buffet breakfast can be enjoyed in the restaurant. In summertime guests can sit on the outdoor terrace. A bus stop can be found right in front of the Kristall Saphir Resort & Spa. From June to October, guests enjoy free use of all cable cars up to 3,000 metres and of all public buses in the Saas Valley.

The staff was exceptionally WONDERFUL...when we got stranded at the busstation and called to say we would be late, they not only came andpicked us up, they served us a four course dinner that was part of ourreservation several hours after the restaurant closed. The food waswonderful and the service friendly and generous. Our room was clean anda good temperature. An amazing location with great views and easy accessibiity to all the activities. Helpful staff (in spite of the fact that we spoke only English and mostly their ability to speak English was quite limited.) Comfortable rooms, good food.

The sunny Saas Valley is situated amidst the highest mountains in Switzerland. Majestic four-thousand-metre peaks, glaciers so close you could almost touch them, a deep blue sky: that's the Saas Valley.

Saas-Almagell
The home village of the Olympic champion Pirmin Zurbriggen is the most southerly village in the Saas Valley. It is a friendly, family-oriented village which has retained the character of a typical Valais mountain village to the present day.

Our well located Hotel Kristall-Saphir in the heart of the SAAS holiday region offers direct access to over 160 km of prepared slopesof various degrees of difficulty. Whether beginner or expert, you will find your ski pleasure in a unique, sunny world of mountains.

The ski-bus stop to Saas Fee and Saas Grund is just in front of the our house. We may even offer a free bus service to the slopes of Saas Almagell by our Hotel Taxi.

Travelling information

By train Visitors travelling by train travel to Brig or Visp and change to the post bus with the direct destination Saas-Fee. In Saas Grund the bus for Saas Almagell is waiting already. This bus will stop directly in front of the Hotel (bus stop Lehn).
