  The Owner was incredibly friendly and helpful with a vast knowledge of the area and its surroundings. We had a lovely room, bright and airy with fresh clean bedding and nice feel. The continental breakfast was good, nice variety of cheeses and generous portions too. A perfect hotel is need a base to explore the beautiful surroundings. Small shop just opposite. Easy access with a bus (about 3 min) to railwaystation and direct train to Bern. TV in a room, free WiFi and car parking, Personnel pleasant and helpful. It's hard to find a better place.

  Alot of the other reviews say that the breakfast is good, and true enough, I must say it's excellent! Continental breakfast with fresh bread, cheese, cold cuts, good selection of fresh fruit, even strawberries. The 24 hour coffee/milk machine was a really nice extra. Location was good enough, bern being so small, we could walk to most places of a... what people say » ttraction, the main train station was only 2 stops away on the tram (if you have luggage). There's a small pizzeria nearby, which made surprisingly yu - We had a room with private bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Handy to very frequent public transport on 2 routes to city but not far to walk to bahnhof anyway. Good breakfast and loved the coloured hard boiled eggs. Shared kitchen great to heat up food purchased at bahnhof. Room a good size and bed comfortable. Quiet location. Good control of temperature in room. We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend it to other travellers.
