  The village of Sils Maria is small and peaceful in a lovely alpine valley, a little distance away from the main road. The main noise in the evening and at night is from the rapids of a steep little alpine stream running through the village. The room that was nice and fresh and rather large, with a little balcony, and an easy chair f - A delightful hotel with efficient, friendly staff. We had a charming and comfortable room and it was nice not to have a TV, though we could have had one for a small charge if we'd wanted it. Lovely breakfast with butter, yogurts, jams etc provided in big containers, not in those usual horrid little plastic ones.The delicious evening meals were excellent value for hotel residents at less than half the normal price.
