Pauline, the marketing manager, willgive you some great restaurant tips. Tralala is truly a discovery, superb design, great staff and well priced. Comfortable, clean, great decor and ambience; the bar area is a lot of fun. Would recommend catching the number 5 bus up to the hotel from the train station, as it is quite a steep walk with luggage. Very good value for money in comparison to other hotels in the area.Fun quirky hotel, with excellent service, good breakfast, spotless. hotel staff, welcome drink, nice room (although small). reception service is great. The front desk lady was very nice and helped us order a pizza. The #5 bus stopped right in front of the hotel. The Hotel gave us a discount card that saved 50% on transport and activities, very cool! Montreux is expensive, this hotel was the most expensive we stayed at but it was not the best.Use of modren concepts. We liked the style of the hotel. We also liked the fact that it was lively and modern. Very refreshingly different.Decoration. Good buffet breakfast. Staff speaks fair English, and was helpful. In Montreux you get a free Riviera card for your stay and with it you can get 50% discount on most of the tourist fees in the area (Chillon Castle, boat cruise, etc...).The room layout could be improved to give more desk space. The only we just recognized, that the bathroom and the toilet wasn' t really clean. For the next time, it would be nice, if you can clean it a little bit better. Difficulty to find free parking. the location..it's on a hill (steep to climb up with luggage!) and located in neighbourhood area so very quiet at night. quite a walk to town centre.Could be a little better soundproofed. - the noise of the shower in the room next door woke us up both mornings. couldnt get the internet to work in our room. the walk towards it. breakfast should be improved. A bit expensive - but hotels seem to be expensive in the whole of switzerland. what ever is promised should be made available. Our double standard room was actually two twin beds pushed together which wasn't ideal and the room was fairly small which had it not been winter would have been fine as we wouldn't have spent so much time in the room. Double rooms far too small, with not enough room to swing a cat; no wardrobe, only hanging space behind the curtain. With insufficient room for us and the suitcase, we had to upgrade to a larger room at extra cost. This shortcoming was not made clear on the website.The hotel is up on a hill, not on the water. Its a 10 minute walk to town and a hard walk back up. Very loud room, we could here the guy next to us pee at night and the street was very noisy. The hotel rates were very overpriced, even for booking.com. Booked double room, room very small, hardly to move around in the room.The room was a bit small though and the breakfast was quite limited.
