Located on 550 metres above sea level, Brione is a small Ticinese village in the hills above Locarno, about 4 km from the city. It is ideal for hiking, Nordic walking and mountain biking. The bottom station of the cable car up the Cardada mountain (1,340 metres) is about 2 km away. From the top station, a chair lift leads to the summit of the Cimetta (1,670 metres), letting you enjoy an incomparable view of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding mountains.

In Brione, there are many restaurants, several of which offer typical Ticinese cuisine with home-made local specialities. There are also several shops and a post office.

The 2-room apartments are 48 m² in size and are located on the 4th floor of a residential building. They are modernly and tastefully furnished and feature a twin bedroom and a living room with one sofa bed (140 cm), cable-TV and stereo unit, as well as a bathroom, a south-facing balcony and an open kitchen (3 hotplates, oven, dishwasher, microwave) with dining table.
