  I liked the fact that the hotel was situated right on the lake. The room was beautiful with a fantastic view down the lake. There was also a choice of restaurants in the hotel and the service in the captains grill room was first class. All the staff were very pleasant and the hotel was spotless. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

  Loved the staff and the location, also the configuration of our family room was great, one room upstairs in a loft and one room downstairs. The breakfast was lovely and included. Also, they had bikes at the hotel for rental, very convenient. - Very quiet, large room, good internet connection, nice surroundings for a walk, excellent food&wine

Most spoke a little english which facilitated communicating. the location of the hotel to the lake was just perfect, not to close and not to far. the local brew for the Gasthof Brauerei Froshinn was very good and refreshing!   The hotel is an excellent restaurant-based hotel in a superbly renovated 15th century castle in a pretty lakeside town. The staff from the owners down could not do enough to make us feel welcome, and the owner (Executive Chef) even cooked a superb steak meal himself for our group after the restaurant had officially closed.
