Private parking is available at the Aspen Alpine Lifestyle Hotel, at an extra fee. On prior request, shuttle services from and to the Grindelwald Train Station are provided.

great people, stunning food, resturant is absolutely fabulous and value for money. this is a place i would reccommend anyone staying at view is great, room is spacious,has a balcony and breakfast was good! its been under new ownership for 1 year now and they have really turned it into an amaizing place. Excellent position overlooking Grindelwald valley although without car could have been rather isolated. Staff very helpful, great breakfast with lots of choice. Rooms clean and large. Restaurant of high standard and good choice.

Would be nice to have an optional send-out laundry service, although a washer/dryer is available for guests. The family room could use a window a/c unit during the summer as it stays too warm until night time (it is at the top of 3rd floor of the hotel). The hotel is hard to get to if you dont have a car. Taxi costs 22CHP one way and bus 5CHP but doesnt run very frequently. Also lots and lots of flies in the restaurant.Too many flies in eating areas. A bit hard to find it.Flies at breakfast - could do with some fans!. In january no sun for the whole day. You have to share the balkon with others. It was a long way up and out of Grindelwald village itself so use of a car almost essential to get to other sights/walking trails , restaurants, shops etc. Too many flies at breakfast!. They have a cat. The woman who works at restrunt wasn't friendly. difficult to get to. Limited bus stop.Staff's attittude. Rating: 1/5 - There was a constantly smoky area at reception, right beside the children's play area. The woman serving breakfast was grouchy to the point of rudeness. Flies all over the food. There was no elevator, and family rooms are all the way upstairs. The hotel is old and worn, not 'modern'. The hotel is really far from Grindelwald.

- Before entering Grindelwald, take the 1st exit at the roundabout next to the Shell-Gas station, towards Grindelwald Grund.
- Pass the railway station, drive over the tracks and turn right over the next bridge.
- From here, follow the signs to Gasthaus Aspen.

By Public Transport:
Next to the train station in Grindelwald Village you will find the bus terminal. Every hour there is a bus connection to Wärgistal / Itramen. The bus stops directly in front of the hotel.
