The hotel was excellent. From check in, John gave us warm welcome and gave us all information we need. The room was very comfortable with excellent view. We had dinner at the hotel and both food and service were outstanding! Breakfast was simple but enough to fill you up. Check out was excellent. We were travelling around Europe for 10 days and this hotel was by far our favorite place and we would recommend to stay here. Thank you very much for a memorable stay.
all reviews The location is great.. The staff is friendly and very cooperative.. Good central location with fabulous views. Location , Location , Location , Location. Very helpful staff, wonderful location just next to the lakeside. Room with the balcony so you can have the lake view in the room. Nice restaurant with local lake fishes well cooked. Great location! It's so much better than staying at Interlaken and it's also conveniently located to Bern and Thun (both of which are great places to visit). The breakfast is awful, looks old and not varied. No air conditioner nor electric fans too.. No mesh cover on the windows to prevent the large amount of insects to come in.. since the air conditioner isn't available they know we have to open the window to let the air in not the insects.. breakfast. The room is not clean in detail, the double room is actually put two beds together which is fine but there are dust between the two bed's edge also there are several spider nets in the balcony. Some rooms next to the street is a bit noisy during the night due to the traffic. Beware: Prices are per person! no matter what the website says, everyone who got there had to pay more. Also, there's a lot of bugs/spiders (it's right next to a lake).
