The unique history and setting of the hotel made staying here an new and enjoyable experience for us. Bathrooms aren't available in the rooms, but the multiple shared bathrooms and separate shower rooms are very nice and were recently remodeled so this wasn't a problem for us. Clean, very friendly lady at the reception, tasty breakfast (excellent home-made jams). It was not busy, so we could use a private bathroom. The kitchen right next door is a nice touch. We could make a cup of tea any time we wanted.
