  We liked the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the place. It was very hot the week we stayed and without asking, the owner supplied a sheet to cover the comfortable bed instead of a duvet. Thoughtful. It is on a corner and because there is no air conditioning, windows were open and traffic noise is there but not continuous The location is good... what people say » being only 5-6 minutes walk from the railway station and a couple of blocks away from the noise of people sitting outside cafes in the centre. The br - Nikolla the person who checks me in and out of the hotel and also prepared the breakfast every morning was very nice and friendly to me. The hotel isn't 5 stars, but it is clean and has its own bathroom not sharing. It is very near to the town, shopping and train station of Biel/Bienne. Plus Nikolla also loan me a bicycle to ride around town. At a very reasonable price, plus good service and free bicycle loan what more can one ask.   The owner was always available and very kind. Nice position in the city center of Biel. The park (17 CHF/week) was a little bit far away from the hotel - This guesthouse is very well located within the city of Biel. Across the street is Manor and a few blocks away are shops and restaurants.
