The location was extremely convenient -- close to the main train station (SBB Basel) and the University, walking distance from most of what I wanted to see. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was accommodating. Check-in and check-out hours were somewhat limited, but the staff was willing to be flexible and adapted to my travel plans.all reviews
Tim met us when we arrived and showed us around and made us very welcome
we were given a travel card to use on public transport for the duration of our stay, Tim also gave us a map and provided us with details on what to see and how to get to the football stadium
This was a great place to stay and easy to find as well.
An excellent example of what budget accommodation should be. Simple clean and quiet with no intrusive staff. No unnecessary 'frills' and a perfect location helped by the brilliant tram/bus system and the complimentary travel pass.
Hotel is located in the rear side of train station, tramway #16 goes to nearby station solothumerstr. COOP supermarket is just across the street, the shared bath room and toilet are clean and comfortable.

They gave me the suite room for the same price for a double room, very nice !

Nobody was at the guest house when I arrived.
A little noisy due to the fact that a busy street passes the guesthouse. Also it is an old building and therefore you can easily hear what the room-neighbor is doing.

1.one of the worse matress i've sleeped at... very uncomfortable and not ergonomic at all

3. not all the blinds were functional. I had to use towels to cover the window.
The room was tiny. No room for anything other than the bed. No breakfast, only coffee. Bathroom across corridor.
