This property is beautifully located in the centre of Trollhättan, by the canal waterfront. Scandic Swania was built in the early 1900s as a city hall. Original ceiling paintings from that time still exist. Today Scandic Swania’s rooms are decorated in a modern, Nordic style and some provide lovely canal views. The airport at Trollhättan is just 15 minutes away. The seasonal menu at Swania's in-house restaurant offers organic dishes and the relaxation facilities include a pool, sauna and workout room. The newly refurbished meeting rooms have a capacity of up to 200 people.

TV, Wi fi, Pool and Sauna. Breakfast was excellent. Staff are excellent & very friendly. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. the atmosfare in the erea. Nice location, nice breakfast. Room was cold. Struggled to get a seat for breakfast - restaurant not big enough when hotel busy. nothing. I was maybe in the old zone of the hotel but given the 170 € I paid for 1 night, I find that a good refurbishment of the room would be welcome. Comfort is really to be revised and the carpet is so old that the smell in the room is really bad.
