I absolutely loved this hotel. Great location and just a 10 minute walk to the historic old town and the ferry to Djurgarden. The rooms are clean and quiet and furnished in modern Danish design. The beds are comfortable, the rooms lite and airy and the morning breakfast is excellent. In other words, everything a traveler would want in a medium priced hotel. You cannot beat it. They had interior decor that had something a little extra than the normal business hotel. They also had a trash can that allowed for recycling and sorting of compost. The personnel was very accomodating and allowed me to check in early and stay late due to business meetings. Very appreciated!!!.
all reviews » The rooms were really good, comfortable and clean. Nice bed, good Internet connection, great bathroom, lots of warm water. What's not to like? This was even for the cabin rooms which basically mean in the cellar without windows. But hey, you only have to sleep there don't you?. The staff were extremely nice and professional. The breakfast was very fresh and the variety was great (as a lactose-intolerant person, I was happy to see soy products and other vegan options). The rooms are basic but nice. The location is excellent. Stayed in the "cabin" room. This was one of the nicer incarnations of this style of room (i.e. windowless) I've seen. Not claustrophically small and well sound insulated. Breakfast was good too. Loved the rooms - great décor and comfy beds. Great location - close to bars and restaurants and easy to get around. The breakfast was amazing - such a huge selection. In Sodermalm, one of the most trendy and beautiful islands of Stockholm, perfect for long walks in the neighborhoods , and home of the best sight seeing spots over Old Town. Cost of room for 1 person was a little pricy at 1 590 SEK per night. It was a good location, but which it was about 300 SEK cheaper. The only thing that was a minus was the parquet flooring which creaked a LOT. I mean every step I took in the room could probably be heard in Nörrköping. Not sure my neighbours liked me too much... My room was a bit dusty and I didn't seem able to control the temperature. The hotel was full but only two tiny elevators were working. At times I just walked up the five floors to my room because the elevator was simply too frustrating. Food-wise, I would have included more chopped fruit at breakfast instead of one kind. Nothing. Rooms had no Air Conditioning. Made the summer heat & humidity unbearable. I am sensitive to heat so for me it made it difficult. There was a club across the street which was going all night long - a bit loud! but not too bad. Breakfast area was crowded with not enough seats. The lift was a bit of a nightmare - very small and didn't always open on the floor selected. Sure it has been sorted now though... very noisy (from outside) slightly dirty. Noise from bars going on too late. Late night noise, smell of old carpet in the corridors and breakfast room. Mye støy i gatene utenfor. Soft beds are somehow uncomfortable. One of the Staff was very rude. Others were very nice. Very small elevator No working Wifi because of too weak signals inside room 309, only in the hallway and opposite rooms. (I know this because a colleague had one of these rooms). The long dark floors of the hotel, which look a bit outdated. The selection of movies, and the loud music wednesday night, coming from the concert bar. That was way too much for a hotel of this price!. The price for the room I got - its probably an issue of Stockholm / Sweden; generally is quite expensive city. The rooms are really small, but I guess we could have upgraded. The breakfast is fine, but given the huge numbers of guests, it's a bit of a scramble to get food at times. Parking is available at a parking garage close by, but unless you understand Swedish, it's a bit of a nightmare. My room was -2 floor !!! Isn't nice to stay two floor underground :-(. There was not enough space at breakfast for everyone and so it was necessary to stand around waiting for a table to become available. This sometimes took a long time. Also, we were on the second floor and it was really far too noisy to sleep. The room was not insulated enough against the noise. The noise. I was on the fifth floor but still had so much noise from a music event on ground level in the hotel I could not sleep. Not good when getting up at 4am for a flight.
