Classic decoration; Kind stuff; Good location; Excellent breakfest. The excellent location, and the slightly old-fashioned "feel" to the spacious room with its high ceiling.The breakfast room was bright and sunny and they offered a wide array of food options.Lift; convenient furniture; comprehensive breakfast; very obliging hotel staff; in spite of the missing hotel-owned parking there is the free parking at the nearby Stortorget plane (20.00 - 9.00) and many low-priced parking possibilities.

The rooms and the furniture are oldfashioned but that is not a real drawback. The room was large, unique, and exactly as described in the listing. It was close to everything, easy to find and the room was big enough for 2 person with a kid.Not far from railway station, good breakfast. Nice large room. Pleasant staff on reception and in dining room. Hotel is old fashioned but in a nice traditional way. Air conditioning, bath/WC ventilator and ironing board in the room have not worked; smoking room could be arranged; it would be helpful to place information about the clamant night life around the hotel on week-ends. Bathroom could have been a bit more cheerful but it was quite adequate. No parking available! You have to find a free space in a nearby street and pay during week days and Saturday. If coming by car it is very difficult to find the hotel due to one-way streets and pedestrian areas. You can't actually drive up to the hotel door, but you can get close. No safe in room, but hotel seemed very secure. The location has pros and cons: though it's near to many restaurants andbars, that also meant that we were kept awake at night by people in thestreets below, and it was too hot to keep the windows shut. Overalldespite this the hotel was very nice and I would stay there again.No reataurant or bar so had to go out for an evening meal. There was only one highchair for baby and I ended up having to fed my son on my lap one morning.Some noise in middle of night due to revellers outside, bed too hard, curtains of room did not cover whole of window, it was covered in middle section by venetion blind which although private let in too much outside light.
