  All the staff were exceptional , nothing is too much trouble, they are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a great position on the beach - which is very clean, but the sea is not really suitable for swimming which we didn't realise when booking. We ate in all the different restaurants and the food and service at all of them was very good.... what people say » A very relaxing beach stay ! - We had a lovely stay at Eden Resort and Spa. Very pleased with the staff, facilities, beautiful pool, good choices of restaurants, very good spa. We would highly recommend it and we would definitely return in the future.

  Stayed with my family and had a lovely time. Superb service and opens up to one of the best beach stretchs in Sri Lanka which is safe even for kids to enjoy.   Beautiful resort, courteous staff, reasonable charges. We got early check in at no additional cost and our younger son (4 yr) was accommodated at no additional cost. Nice swimming pool. - I like everything in the hotel. All my estimations were completed - i meet the ocean, sand grand, sun, natural world, very kind people. Thank you!

  I give Saman Villa a 10/10 My room had a private pool facing the ocean, just a perfect way to relax and start ur holiday. The staff are always accomadating to ur needs. I was tired from all the travelling so i slept good, woke up at around 4am my husband was awake too and were hungry, i ordered a proper meal and they served it within 30 mins, all... what people say » fresh and hot.   Mangrove Villa is a unique getaway from most other places. With only 6-7 rooms, it is private and far away from touristy traps. Situated on the side of the river and home to King Fishers and lazy Water Monitors, I could relax and refresh myself. My favourite place was sitting by the river and watch the river go by..... The staff were very helpful,... what people say » considerate and accommodating, including making special meals suited to my preference. Be prepared to enjoy tasty and healthy traditional Sri Lankan - very quiet and isolated location, a bit of a distance to the nearest village or the beach. Hotel has its own tuktuk though. Very clean, though the non-A/C cottage I rented was rather basic. Very good food, and a very friendly and helpfull owner. An excellent choice for those who look for a quiet and peaceful retreat on the banks of the river Bentota.
