The room was very clean and quiet with nice view. The buffet breakfast was excellent particularly the Sr Lankan dhal, string hoppers etc and the fresh fruit and curd. Arrived very late and service was excellent. it's good for the morning flight, and the hotel is very close from the international airport about 10 minutes by car. Hotel service personnel will be ready for the guest early can carry away the breakfast.

The bedroom was lovely and the balcony. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were given our room early and it was very much appreciated as we had had a very long flight. The food was excellent with a good choice. Perfect budget hotel for a Colombo transit stop. It's about a 10 minute taxi ride to CMB airport. The hotel is about a year old, is clean, has contemporary design and friendly staff. Nice and efficient check in. Great service from the hotel staff, great location reasonably close to the airport for our early morning flight, and a luxurious overall feeling. Close to airport very comfortable bad. ok for one night stay in negombo. The plug next to the kettle was the wrong shape, so we had to boil the kettle next to the bed and unplug the bedside light. The breakfast was very average, and overall the menus seemed overpriced. Hot water was intermittent. Expect a few mosquitos. It smells. Well, not the actual hotel but rather from the lagoon nearby. Hard to do anything about, but you have been warned. The service in the restaurant was also a bit unpredictable, with great handling one minute and very clumsy solutions the next. Probably related to training and experience. Attention to detail lacking in preparation of room. For example, kettle not working and four light bulbs had to be changed. Food variable: excellent lunch followed by poor dinner. No shower door. The night life and shopping of Beach Road is a bit far, too far to walk. Maintenance needs to be improved. Shower water outlet was blocked, and was not fixed after several attempts. some insicts in the room. Bad smell. breakfast. Uncomfortable dining chairs. The bad smell near the pool. Good hotel no comments. 1Air Cond was cooling in the room 2.Air Airport shuttle is expensive,should be free services,as it very close to the Airport. No cushions for the dining room chairs which were very uncomfortable. Restaurant staff very slow and service generally not good. Room walls very thin you could hear people talking very clearly and leaving in the early morning. Our room was not cleaned on our second day despite being told staff would be attending three times. We also waited twice for staff to come and sort our room safe as it was not working despite again a promise they would attend. Drinks were expensive. you need taxi to go market. Poor facilities. Only option is the spa, where treatments are overpriced. Swimming pool looked so revolting, we couldn't go in: water was grey of color!. Bad management, lots of staff but very unorganised. Poorly stocked bar. Expensive spa prices. Not good food not nice smell in room and bathroom very poor service for such price for the room. it felt like it was not secure specially the doors and locks of the room were way too easy to open... also the location was not very attractive. The staff response was poor and quality of food is pathetic. Too expensive for the value it provided. Too many mosquitoes in the room, I was worried the whole time about my baby. There was even a urine smell in the room. The hotel rents are not transparent so we ended up paying after tax 500 AED (UAE Currency= 138 USD) instead of 106 USD advertised. Food and the breakfast was just ok. When you are paying for a 5 star then you do expect the facilities of 5 star, which wasn't the case here.
