Yvonne and Ray were fabulous hosts who went out of their way to ensure that our stay was perfect in every way. The Cortijo Sabila is a superbly renovated Spanish country home. Amazing gardens and Ray and Yvonne's vision is yet to be fully realised. Now....about the cook....the food and the atomsphere was first class. You must experience the dining room. all reviews » My partner and I had a wonderful and memorable stay at Cortíjo Sabíla. I would highly recommend clients, family and friends to stay there. We stayed in the Malaga bedroom and it was beautifully furnished. It didn't matter what window you were to look out of, each one had an idyllic view of the mountains in Villanueva del Rosario. Breakfast and dinner were first-class! Yvonne and Ray made our stay so warm and welcoming and I will definitely visit again in the near future. We thought this was a beautiful small Hotel that had been tastefully designed and no expense spared. There were lots of interesting places to sit in the gardens, beautiful views of the mountains. Yvonne is also a very good cook. The owners Ray and Yvonne could not do enough for us. This is a place that we will return to, as they say the real Spain. Yvonne & Ray made this our stay a wonderful start. We could not have asked for anything more. Within 35 mins. from Malaga Airport, a very beautiful boutique hotel, and close to many sites in Southern Spain. Yvonne's cooking and presentation of our meals were excellent. The room was very romantic. We are planning to return in the near future. We stayed 3 nights and had a great time and a very good and personal welcoming at this family run mansion like hotel with a lovely view of the mountains about 40 min from Malaga. Absolutely everything we liked in this hotel with the most friendly owners in the world! We cannot think of anything. we only booked one night ! such a pity. Absolutely nothing to dislike!. Nothing to mention!!!. A bit tricky to find - no signs at the road. Paid for a suite but it was more like a double room, no sofa and not overly spacious but it was nicely decorated and comfortable.
