We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. It is a budget hotel so it is not luxurious and the breakfast is basic but the staff are lovely and the room was clean with a good view overlooking the square. The location is perfect, it is 5 mins from the train station and right in the centre of Villafranca beside the bars and restaurants and local markets. We even got to watch the Castellers (human towers) practice in the square outside the hotel!.
all reviews » This is a very good value, well situated hotel in a Spanish working town with a lovely old centre. The staff here are excellent. Very helpful in every way. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well equipped. Location is very central with good parking facilities nearby at a special rate which you pay in hotel. Breakfast had a good choice and I felt was really better than expected for price we paid. This is a very nice place to stay - honest three stars. Good and friendly personal - you recognize and remember real people who want to help you. There is a great discount for parking near the hotel - for us it was important. You can spend a nice time exploring multiple wineries near this town. Nicely modernized room; electric shutters that can efficiently shut out noise and light. Situated in the middle of town; we had a fantastic view over the city square, rambla and mountains in the background. Very clean and comfortable rooms with modern and good functioning bathrooms and nice design. Well placed for an evening stroll through the old town and good to excellent restaurants nearby. The hotel is right in the middle of the town. Taxi to Torres wine bodega takes only 5 minutes and costs less than 10 €. Excellent Cal Ton restaurant is just around the corner. Parking was pricey. The vineyard they sent us to, Torres, was kind of lame. The bed is very cheaply made with very little padding over the springs and too firm.
