It was a excelent surprise. I booked in the last minute mostly because of the cheap price, and when we arrive, we were amazed because its in the best spot possible: right in the center of the Old Town in a historic square where everybody gathering for chat and drink at night. After 01:00, becomes a really quite and peaceful mood, because everybody goes to the bars and clubs (5 minutes walk from the hostal). Its 1 minute walk to the Marina too, where you can get a boat to Islas Cies. If you wann. all reviews
The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was just what I needed, basic, clean, comfortable and within my budget. The location is fantastic, near to the port to get the boat to las islas cies (islands), and near buses that can take you to Samil beach. I will definitely be back!.

A little loud, but for me not a problem. The room had a funky smell but ignorable.
We asked double bed, but got 2 single.
