Perfectly - very central - in the heart of the city - (100 M. near thestation - directly with the U-bahn to/from the airport) .... 5 min. Walkto the cathedral and many objects of interest and near many tapasrestaurant......price achievement = absolutely in order..........friendly and helpful people at the reception ....... The staff were really friendly and helpful. It is right in the city centre which was great!!.

Lovely view eventhough the gorgeous fountain was down for repair the best part of my stay. 2 staff members spoke english which was helpful as I have no spanish and they were very friendly and accommodating to assisting me during my stay. Would certainly recommend Hostal Venecia and would stay there again as I would hope to visit Valenica again. Great hotel. 55 Euroes including a decent breakfast buffet right in the heart of Valencia. Corner room overlooking the big fountain and the square was great.it is an excellent hotel, clean, quiet, efficient, centrally located. Very conveniently positioned. But I guess that was the disadvantage of having the gorgeous view and being central to everything.The room was a little bit small for a triple room. Room decor could be brighter and more cheerful. Minor point. The directions to the hotel suggested we catch the Aerobus from the airport - this no longer runs now that the Metro to the airport is open. Caused a bit of confusion!. Too much noise from the airco's outside on the second floor in room 204. With an outside temperature of 5 degrees at night I do not understand why the airco had to wake me up every quarter of an hour.Of course noisy due to central location (traffic, people, large water fountain), some noise at night from inside the hotel as well on one night (young people partying). Shower temperature completely random one of the days. Would have preferred a room with a view.very poor sound proofing, we could hear everything happening in the bathroom of the adjacent room.!. Parking could be tricky. An english TV channel would have been nice. There was no English Language News Channels on TV. too noise because of the single glass windows. The room we were allocated was dark and very close to another building therefore not possible to open blinds without being overlooked. No air con working. No internet.the reception staff where not vary nice to us.

By Public Transport

From the airport
Take the bus and get off on the last stop, next to Estación del Norte.
You can also take the Metro (lines 5 or 3) and get off in Xàtiva station.

In both cases you have to then walk towards Plaza del Ayuntamiento (town council square) for 3 minutes, and once you pass by the town council building main entrance, on the 2nd street on the left you will find our entrance.

By Train
You arrive at Estación del Norte and then follow the above instructions to reach the guesthouse on foot.

By Boat
Take bus number 19 and get off at the stop in Plaza del Ayuntamiento (square) and follow the route as above.
