What people say

English speaking staff. Very nice people. Diane the receptionist was an excellent ambassador for any establishment,she made us very welcome. There was a private party that took over the entire public areas until 10pm which limited ability to use wifi, have dinner early or to use the public rooms. Otherwise this would have been a lovely experience. The food and selection could be better.

The dishes served in the restaurant are simple, homemade and traditional, based on recipes used already by previous generations. Due to their time consuming preparation it is more and more difficult to find them in restaurant menus and with their aromas they bring back long lost childhood memories.

Information about the area

Sierra Mágina is situated just 33 km from the provinces’ capital Jaén and 50 km from Úbeda and Baeza – declared World Heritage in 2003, and still conserves the simple and calm life, determined by the pace of nature and agriculture.

The region is rich in vegetation and spectacular landscapes, especially in March during the cherry blossom period. The cultivation of these trees formed a whole culture and the cherry harvest is a real festivity in this area.

People have lived in these mountains for many, many years and there are prehistoric paintings in the nearby cave Cueva del Morrón.

The rooms and apartments, with a joyful and cosy decor, are very spacious and space is actually the most important characteristic of the whole complex with its terraces and squares as meeting points, where new guests are immediately integrated in the big family, formed by the staff and other travellers.

Travelling information

By car:
- From Seville, Córdoba and Madrid take the A-4 to Jaén until the exit Úbeda/Baeza/Mancha Real.

- From Málaga, take the A45 and A92 motorways to Granada.
- From there, take the N323 to Jaén until the above mentioned exit.
- This exit will take you on to the A316.
- Stay on this road until you see on your right the crossroad direction to “Mancha Real”.
- Follow the signs to this little town towards Torres which is already signposted (road JV 3242).
- The narrow and very picturesque road crosses straight through the olive tree plantations.
- Arriving at Torres, drive through the village on the main street towards Albánchez.
- 3 km later and behind a very pronounced curve you will find, on your left, the entrance to the hotel.
