This is an older hotel with a charm of the 50's that is unique. Not for everyone but very much to our taste. It was wonderful!. All staff were very friendly and helpful!. Great location right in the heart of Carihuela. Very clean. Friendly, efficient staff. The hotel has a lovely old world charm, check out the huge fireplace in the breakfast room. Pool and gardens lovely. Very quiet no problems getting sleep. I was given a twin room with pool view instead of the single I booked (no extra cost), the hotel was not full when I was there.

The hotel was very close to beach and shops .The breakfast was very nice.The room was comfortable and clean.We would use the Hotel again.It was also good that they let us have our dog with us. The character of the hotel, the architexture, very pretty, great location, parking, near some great Spannish seafood restaurants too.It was close the beach, yet quiet and relaxing. Beautiful building! Despite the 2 star ratings, some parts were quite 4 star. The home-made paella was delicious and was served to us the lovely court yard in the most professional mannner. They had a lovely cat with one blue and one yellow eye. The bathroom was obviously recently renovated with a long bath, so that was comfortable. the closeness to the beach and all amenities. the staff were friendly and helpful the hotel had so much charecter absolutely charming!. The room was a little dusty and the TV remote was missing. But still... i highly recommend this place if you're looking fora charming little place instead of a humongous 500-room, inpersonal hotel.the hotel was in desperete need of new towels and sheets. breakfast.they had no tea making facilities. also no tele, news channel in english. the air con/ heating system in the room was very confusing!. No lift. no sherry in the bar!. breakfest was always the same, but that was not problem. Uncomfortable beds.breakfast was a little light - no juice, just coffee and a croissant. also the rooms got cold during the night and the air con machine was hard to turn back on, and loud. little noicy and the bed was too narrow and the pillow was very spanish. Room 24 was damp and little stuffy. The breakfast was really really poor, not worth mentioning.Poor breakfast. not easy to find by car. The garden and the facilities in general could be in better shape. The building has a lot of potential. The room wasn't charming as the building and the garden,room's forniture was very old but clean.Poor breakfast.condition of room and minimal breakfast. Room was dark, old and dingy which over looked a noisy building site. Nobar facilities.The standard of the rooms was extremely poor! Decoration was shabby. I have slept in better beds at youth hostels!! They looked as if they had been bought at the local Army and Navy stores!! The bathroom needed updating but was adequate. The breakfast on offer was pathetic (a roll, almond slice and coffee) Could fruit and/or cereal not have included in the offering? The room was too small for three.
