Information about the area
There is plenty to see and do in the area surrounding the hotel. You can explore the region’s apple-growing orchards and cider making and enjoy a taste of delicious traditional local cider. Alternatively, you may prefer to discover the region’s history and culture, visiting nearby museums and admiring the area’s Romanesque architecture. For the more adventurous, the mountain paths can be explored on horse back or on quad bikes, you can enjoy canoeing on the Sella River or you can take sailing or motorboat trips or go fishing or diving.
Further afield, you could visit Tazones, a fishing village where jet, used in the region’s traditional jewellery, was once extracted. You could visit the charming traditional little village of Villaviciosa. Gijón has an impressive aquarium, Cerro Santa Catalina is a hilltop park with panoramic views and Oviedo, the capital of the Principality of Asturias, is worth a day trip. The city has a beautiful, historic centre, El Fontán (traditional market square) and Plaza de la Catedral (cathedral square).

From the south, take the AS-255, which joins up with the N-634 motorway that connects Oviedo with Santander.
The hotel is just off the AS-255, which joins the towns of Villaviciosa and Infiesto. From the AS-255 take the exit signposted Torazo.
